Sweet Memories With My Big Sister

Created by Paul one year ago
Fond memories of Dad taking us on our annual holiday to Bournemouth. We would take an evening stroll along the clifftops and then go into the penny arcades and finish off by having a delicious cup of Horlicks at a cafe on the way back to the hotel.

Equally fun times spent each year with Mum at Nan and Grandpa's chalet in Mablethorpe for two wonderful weeks. The fish and chips and mushy peas were out of this world!

I enjoyed being a little pain in the neck to my big sister when she and Alan first started dating. I would aggravate them when they wanted to be on their own listening to music.

I remember being the DJ for Claire's 17th birthday party and only having six records to rotate and play the entire night.

Being part of Claire and Alan's first skiing experience in Austria was so much fun!

Cruising down from Nashville to Memphis was an unforgetable drive, as well as, visiting Elvis Presley's Graceland in Memphis. What a brilliant time!

Other wonderful family vacations were spent together at Disneyland in Florida, skiing at Boyne Highlands in Michigan, sightseeing in Chicago, Illinois, and our amazing trip to Paris, France to celebrate Mum and Dad's 60th Wedding Anniversary.  These are all moments spent with Claire that will last with us forever.

Not so fond memories were...wishing the tap dancing contest would end! It was torture for me being dragged along to watch the show.
